Civil-rights lawyer and activist Avnish Nanda joins him to discuss Alberta’s proposed referendum questions on immigration, which cast non-permanent residents as a burden even though they pay into public systems—and often use them far less than the rest of us.
The premise is so absurd that treating it with total seriousness risks giving it more dignity than it deserves. So Avnish brings the facts. Liberty brings the grievance, the grift and a remarkable ability to misunderstand everything he hears. Enjoy!
